The Commission Process
The first step of the process is to discuss your vision for your perfect piece of jewellery. We will also look at various design influences, Rebecca’s previous designs and gem choices.
When you are happy, I will estimate the cost of your jewellery. On receipt of a 50% deposit, I will start work on your bespoke commission. I will first hand draw designs based on our discussions to scale for you to select from.
I will initially draw at least three designs, we can then refine the design until we have the perfect piece.
Once we have decided on your final design, I will begin the fabrication process and order in a selection of stones (if your design includes them) for you to choose from. You will be asked to come in at various points to approve stages before the item is completed. Dependent on the design some items may be carved in wax and others will be fabricated straight in the metal itself.
The final will then be balance paid on completion.
Precious Metals & Gemstones
I only use recycled metals and all my gemstones are ethically sourced and fair trade wherever possible. I am happy to create bespoke items in 9ct & 18ct white, yellow & rose gold, sterling silver & platinum. Remodels are not available in platinum.
